His IP work has included a range of copyright, trademark, and patent disputes involving written, audio, and visual works, mechanical and medical devices, and software.
Wu’s experience as an attorney and his engagement with the legal community are comprehensive. Prior to joining FROST, Wu was a Los Angeles-based partner at leading national law firms including Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP, Buchalter, LLP, and Thompson Coburn LLP. His litigation practice is bolstered by criminal defense experience in earlier roles. He has been recognized as a Legal Visionary by the Los Angeles Times and a Top Attorney by Pasadena Magazine. Wu has also served as a judge pro tem in Los Angeles Superior Court, and he is active with the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association and various pro bono projects.
Wu earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Juris Doctor from the Pepperdine University School of Law. During law school, he externed for the Honorable Lawrence Crispo.
