Chanell Botshekan is an associate at FROST LLP. She is an experienced commercial litigator who has practiced in complex consumer, class action, and business disputes and brings broad subject matter experience across insurance, cannabis, toxic exposure, product liability, and emerging regulatory issues. Chanell takes a strategic approach to litigation and offers a distinctive ability to integrate scientific and technical concepts into legal strategy.

Chanell has significant experience managing matters from inception through resolution, whether through verdict at trial or favorable settlement. She also advises clients on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation. Prior to joining FROST LLP, Chanell practiced at one of the world’s largest full-service law firms, where she represented clients in high-stakes class actions, coverage disputes, and regulatory matters. Her work frequently involved consumer products and health and beauty brands, and she played a key role in evaluating product formulations, advertising and marketing materials, and scientific data in connection with false advertising and PFAS-related litigation. Drawing on her background in psychology and her fluency in biology and chemistry concepts, Chanell worked closely with experts and clients’ in-house teams to translate complex technical information into persuasive legal arguments.

Chanell earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where she was a member of the Hale Moot Court Honors Program. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan, graduating with University Honors. She is licensed to practice law in California.

Outside of her practice, Chanell enjoys learning about military and commercial aviation, loves the Dragon Ball franchise, and celebrates Halloween year-round.
