Ben Kassis is a creative and solution-oriented business litigator who has spent his decade-plus career becoming a trusted advocate for clients in entertainment, media, and sports. He prides himself on developing highly aggressive, precise legal strategies for advancing clients’ interests and delivering case-altering blows to their adversaries.
Ben has successfully handled disputes ranging from contract breach and business torts to prosecuting and defending copyright and trademark infringement claims, among the wide variety of legal issues encountered by his industry clients. Along the way he has counseled and delivered results to high-profile clients such as artists, filmmakers, professional athletes, musicians, film and commercial producers, film and music distributors, marketing leaders, content creators, and media company executives.
In addition to his entertainment and sports-driven experience, Ben is a versatile leader whose practice has included litigating multiple business matters for real estate developers, private companies across Los Angeles operating in a variety of sectors, employers facing labor and employment-related claims, high-net-worth individuals, and entrepreneurs in high-stakes conflicts in California state courts, federal court, and arbitration settings. He continues to expand the appellate portion of his practice.
Prior to joining FROST LLP, Ben practiced litigation in Los Angeles at Milbank LLP and Eisner LLP.
Born and raised in Sacramento, Ben holds an undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University and a J.D. from Loyola Law School. He is licensed to practice law in California.
Ben has been deeply involved with music for much of his life, beginning as a drummer from a young age and performing in multiple indie rock bands over the years. While overall a music aficionado, today Ben channels his connection to the creative world most tangibly through his periodic moonlighting as a DJ in the local underground electronic music scene, believing that a creatively fulfilling life makes him a more energetic and effective advocate.
